Kaya Pino is a Canadian music supervisor, curator and consultant based in London. She has been in the industry for only 6 years yet boasts over 30 credits across a very eclectic mix of TV, Film, and broadcast projects.
Her impressive portfolio is a reflection of her dependable work ethic and the care that goes into every project. She takes a deeply personal and anthropological approach to everything she does, blending relationships between movement, rhythm, sound, musicality, and humanity. Kaya previously worked in Toronto as a music supervisor on multiple films and TV series including HBO’s Sort Of which won a Peabody Award, Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia, Kim’s Convenience and features such as Mary Nighy’s Alice, Darling starring Anna Kendrick. Kaya now works at Shoreditch-based music supervision company King Lear Music & Sound alongside music supervisor Sarah Giles, with recent credits including 2024 TV series The Listeners (Element Pictures) directed by Janicza Bravo, 2023 series Dreaming Whilst Black (BBC, A24) and Mercury Studios’ 2024 documentary Linda Perry: I Want It All. |
