Justin Kwok is a London-based music editor and audio engineer. With experience in broadcast, live sound, and studio recording, as well as degrees in Music and Sound Recording (Tonmeister) and Media Studies (UC Berkeley), Justin has a versatile toolkit for syncing music to picture.
Justin began music editing in collaboration with Emmy-nominated composer Rael Jones. With Rael, Justin edited the music for several music documentaries (The 60th Anniversary Bond music documentary Sound of 007, George Ezra’s End to End, and Mad About the Boy: The Noel Coward Story) as well as BBC drama Sixth Commandment and the British adaptation of Call my Agent (Ten Percent). In 2023, Justin worked with Academy-Award winning composer Christopher Benstead on two of Guy Ritchie’s 2024 releases The Gentlemen TV series and The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare as score mixer and composer’s assistant. As music editor, he also worked on Role Play (produced by and starring Kaley Cuoco), Seize Them! (a forthcoming British medieval comedy starring Aimee Lou Wood, Nicola Coughlin, and Nick Frost), and the TV series Signora Volpe (starring Emilia Fox). |
