GAZELLE TWIN
Gazelle Twin AKA Elizabeth Bernholz, is a British composer, singer, producer and performing artist. Her experimental approach to composition, music production and live performance is driven by a desire to counterpoint traditional models of performance art and music. She uses analogue and digital electronic systems, with live acoustic instruments including her voice, recorder and flute, together with session musicians and sampling. The form of her works range anywhere from A capella vocal pieces, beat-driven songs, to large-scale choral or orchestral soundscapes. Her solo albums utilise powerful visual themes and live performances featuring changing personas, staging and visuals. Since 2011 she has toured her music worldwide, and has released six acclaimed albums; Black Dog (2023, Invada records), Deep England (2021) with NYX Drone Choir,  Pastoral (2018, AGMR), Kingdom Come (2017, Anti-Ghost Moon Ray), Unflesh (2014, AGMR) and her debut, The Entire City (2011, AGMR).​

As a composer for film, television, radio, theatre and game, Bernholz’s credits include; Summerwater (Channel 4, 2025), Mudtown / Ar y Ffin (U&Alibi  Severn Screen, 2025), The Fall of Sir Douglas Weatherford, (BFI/BBC Film, 2025), Black Cab (Sony Pictures, 2024), Uncanny: Post Mortem (BBC 2, 2025), Then You Run (SKYMAX/Kudos, 2023), Cyberpunk 2077 and 2022 Netflix series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Nocturne (Amazon Studios / Blumhouse, 2020), The Power (Shudder, BFI, 2021) composed in collaboration with Max de Wardener. Additionally, her work has featured in series and films including; The Walking Dead (AMC), The New Pope (HBO), How To Get Away With Murder (ABC), The Virtues (Channel 4), Prometheus (20th Century Fox). 

Gazelle Twin is an ambassador for women in music and inspired the 'Gazelle Twin Scholarship for Women in Music Technology' at the University of Sussex, UK. She frequently presents seminars to students of music/art, and often mentors young composers/producers of all backgrounds.
