Deniz Cuylan is a Turkish/American artist and film composer based in Los Angeles with 11 albums across multiple genres and placements around the world.
As a performer, he has played and headlined festivals around the world including Fabrica Europa, Popkomm, Moscow Fashion Week and One Love. As a film music composer and sound designer, he has worked on projects such as, the Emmy nominated Netflix Original, Mars Generation, Sundance FF NHK and Beijing IFF winner and Cannes Critics’ Week Grand Prize nominee Oh Lucy!, the Netflix original TV series, El Chapo, Midnight At The Pera Palace, Rise of Empires: Ottoman, as well as Janicza Bravo’s Rotterdam IFF Big Screen Award nominee, Lemon. Deniz Cuylan also co-wrote and scored his own feature thriller Av/The Hunt, and won The Best Original Music Award at International Istanbul Film Festival. In 2021, Cuylan released his first solo album, No Such Thing As Free Will on Hush Hush Records. He dived deep into multi-layered, contemporary classical compositions. The album received stellar reviews. |
