DAVID BOMAN |
David Boman is a Los Angeles based composer and music producer. He integrates new wave instruments and atmospheric textures to create a unique and evocative style that blends orchestral, indie rock and electronica. David’s feature film credits include What Happens Later (2023, directed by and starring Meg Ryan), Moonshot (2022, Berlanti Productions/HBO Max) , and Wyrm (2019, available on Hulu). He also scored the Oscar nominated short film Please Hold (2022).
After attending the University of Washington, David moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of producing music for film and television. In 2015 he began assisting award-winning film composer Dan Romer. During this time, David provided additional engineering and orchestration on films including The Little Hours (2017) and Wendy (2020). David wrote additional music for the AAA video game Far Cry 5 (2018). David’s music has also been used in hundreds of episodes of television, as well as on commercials for Nike and Stanford University, and on award-winning podcasts. He recently wrote the original music for Wondery’s limited series podcast on Milli Vanilli, Blame it on the Fame (2024). |
