CHRISTOPHER FRENCH
Christopher French is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from the coast of Northern California. As a teenage guitarist he started writing songs with a 4-track tape recorder in his bedroom. While he spent his formative years touring with alternative rock bands, developing his stage presence and voice both as a singer and as a songwriter, scoring for film and television was always his ultimate goal. 

After attending the Musician’s Institute for Recording Engineering in Los Angeles, he began expanding his mastery of recording and composition. More recently, as well as composing scores for Film & TV, he founded alternative rock band Annie Automatic, attended Berklee College of Music for Film Scoring & Orchestration, and released a new album of experimental electronic music in the beginning of 2018.

​With a uniquely diverse list of scoring credits so far he’s had the invaluable opportunity, early in his career, to hone his musical instincts in a wide variety of genres. Recent scoring credits include the Duplass Brothers’ feature film ‘Unlovable’, Turbid Lake’s ’Limina’, documentaries ‘Two If By Sea’, ‘Non-Binary’ & ‘The Human Trial’, and Seasons 1 -5 of the TV comedy ‘Young & Hungry’. He’s also worked on numerous commercial campaigns and had songs placed in films like ‘Authors Anonymous’ & ’Modify’, among others. French is a member of SAG/AFTRA and lives in Los Angeles with his wife, where he works out of his private HD recording studio, Everything Music.
