ROTEM FRIMER |
Rotem Frimer is a London-based composer, producer, singer/songwriter and MA graduate of the National Film and Television School, where she received the Avid Award for Excellence.
2024 sees Rotem scoring projects for a factual three-part BBC series, a three-part true crime Netflix series, and a feature length documentary about climate change. Rotem has also written additional music for Paramount+’s series The Crow Girl, composed by Adam Price, and assisted composer Arthur Sharp for Apple TV’s upcoming series Prime Target and Emilie Leienaise Farrouch on her score for The Assessment (2024). In 2023, Frimer composed the score for Morgan: Metal Detective, a cosy first-person game, which has been officially selected for SXSW Sydney 2024 and is due to be released on all platforms in 2024. Other recent credits include BAFTA Yugo nominated short documentary milk, BAFTA Scotland nominated short documentary Clean, and music editing Channel 4's RTS award-winning PARTYGATE. Alongside her work for screen, Frimer collaborated with choreographers Imre & Marne Van Opstal in 2023 on ‘Mommy, Look!’, a 30 minute dance piece commissioned by Theater Basel. She also co-composed Imre Van Opstal’s multi-award winning dance film ‘Endurance’ (2022). Frimer began her career as part of music duo Shelly & Rotem, who toured worldwide following the release of their EP ‘Between Shores’ (2013). After she self-produced their debut album ‘Some Things Can Change’ (2016), Frimer ventured into producing for other artists alongside working as a session guitarist and bass player for other bands. |
