Jamison Hollister is a film and television composer, multi-instrumentalist musician, and music producer. His unique approach and mastery of many instruments has earned him the moniker "the one man orchestra." Jamison's passion and interest in storytelling through sound and music allow him innovative and effective collaboration with filmmakers and artists alike.
In 2020, Jamison scored Showtime's upcoming limited series "The Good Lord Bird" starring Ethan Hawke. Previously, he wrote the original score for the ABC show "American Koko," produced by Oscar Winner Viola Davis. In film, he scored the award-winning film "He Could've Gone Pro” as well as co-writing the score for the romantic comedy “Honesty Weekend.” As a musician, Jamison has played pedal steel, fiddle, mandolin, dobro and guitar on the hit television shows "American Idol," "The Voice," "The Grammys," "Later with Jools" and "Glee." He has performed, recorded, and toured with artists such as Dwight Yoakam, Dolly Parton, John Fogerty, Blake Shelton, Lisa Marie Presley, Charlie Worsham, Brandy Clark, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Jimbo Mathus, Levi Kreiss, and more. |
