DANIEL ROSSEN |
Daniel Rossen is a composer, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist best known as the guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the indie rock band Grizzly Bear. As a film composer Rossen and his Grizzly Bear bandmate Christopher Bear composed the music for the 2023 Academy Award-nominated film Past Lives for A24 and directed by Celine Song. Daniel also recently scored the drama feature film The Line directed by Ethan Berger which premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival.
Rossen recorded four studio albums with Grizzly Bear. He is also one half of the duo Department of Eagles. In 2012 he released a solo EP Silent Hour/Golden Mile, and in 2022 released his debut solo album You Belong There, in which Daniel plays upright bass, cello, guitar, and woodwinds. |
